Course Dates, Fees & Eligibility
Course FeesThe 1999 course fee is $2695.
The fee is inclusive of: registration, tuition, pre-course assignment, course materials, job assistance, and post-course development materials.
1999 Course DatesEvery course has 19 days of tuition and practice, plus one day of guided self-study. Courses start on the following dates:
- March 1, 1999
- April 5, 1999
- May 10, 1999
- June 7, 1999
- July 12, 1999
- August 16, 1999
- September 20, 1999
- October 25, 1999
- November 22, 1999
Eligibility For Our Program
- You do not need previous teaching experience.
- You should have completed all/most of a BA/BS degree course. You should have experience of formal study of a foreign language. (You do not need to be proficient in a foreign language.)
- You have to pass a Language Evaluation Test in English.
- You have to be at least 20 years old by the end of your course. There is no upper age limit, but you should note that many overseas employers will not recruit new teachers who are over 50 years old.)
Application ProceduresOur Application procedures are simple, and we do not charge an Application fee.
- Our information pack contains an Application and a Language Evaluation Test.
- To apply, complete the Application and the Evaluation, and mail/fax them to us.
- We will then contact you by phone to arrange an interview. This can be in person or, if you live outside the San Francisco area, by phone.
- At the end of the interview, we will tell you whether or not you have been accepted.
- We will then explain how you can enroll in a specific month's program.
